This year is going to be very different due to guidelines and regulations. The solution to keep kids safely distanced is to have them seated at desks. As a 1st grade teacher, I know this is not the way students learn best. They need to be able to move around because desks are not designed for 7 year olds! My vision is to have a yoga mat for each child with a lap desk and these seats. This allows them to be able to move around their mat to do their work the way they are most comfortable. The mat, lap desk, and seats are all very easy to clean which will be helpful in keeping our classroom safe. I know these seats will allow my students to do their best work while staying at a safe distance from their peers.
