One of the things that I found challenging last year during our shutdown was teaching students with and without technology. This year my students will be learning using the hybrid model with some time in class and other days at home.
With hybrid learning involving the continual shift in learning environments, I want my students to feel a sense of consistency with all their supplies in one location, on their backs, to keep them on track and able to find success no matter where they are.
My students will receive a chrome book from the district and will be learning some new programs. I plan to have the students bring their laptops to school so that they can get direct instruction using programs to ensure their success.
I am requesting laptop backpacks, headphones, computer mice, dry erase pocket sleeves, dry erase markers, erasers, and pencil cases (one to hold pencils and one to hold face masks while eating). The laptop backpack will allow students to transport their laptop to and from school and to keep it in a safe place when not in use. Many children do not have a space in their homes to learn in a quiet atmosphere. The headphones will allow my kids to focus and concentrate on their studies. The additional materials will enable students to actively participate in on line and in class learning.
Please help me give my students these supplemental materials so that they have the tools they need to be successful no matter what this school year entails.
