During the social distancing times we are facing, our class will need to rework the layout. The lap desks will provide my students a place they can write and play with their learning manipulatives since we can not use out typical tables. The teacher seats will be used by myself and my aide while we work with our students. The seat spots will provide my students with a visual reminder of their areas that they may work and play in. The study carrels will be used as dividers for them during lunch. This way we can keep children separated yet close enough to be within a safe distance from them while they are eating. I will be creating many different file folder games for my students to use at home so I will be using a lot of Velcro dots to do this.
