I want teachers and students to read these books so we can understand each other and see the world through new eyes. I want to use each of these books to help teach the students about different avenues peoples' lives take and how we can understand and empathize with each other. I hope these books are helpful in building students understanding of what other people go through in life and that their story is not the only story ever told.
