Like many students around the world, my students spent more than a quarter of their 1st grade year at home completing packets. As I gear up to teach my 2nd graders in a hybrid model of in-school and at-home learning, I hope to give them resources that are much more engaging and helpful than what they were provided with last year. A Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to purchase materials that are created to be engaging and used online. I will be able to purchase materials that are made by teachers who know what kids like and what they need to succeed. I will use the cardstock paper to create take-home manipulative kits to help both my students and their parents better work through math problems. These items will help me provide my students and their families with what they need to succeed in this new era of education.
