I am a Middle School Counselor that is very passionate about teaching and spreading kindness. I want the students to learn that no act of kindness- no matter how small- is ever wasted. This project will help provide supplies to create gifts for teachers, students, school staff, and community members. My counseling department is uniquely different then a standard classroom. I do not receive any type of "classroom funds" to purchase supplies I might need. The materials that have been used in The Kindness Club have been purchased by me and as the students ask to make projects bigger, I have made the decision to start this project. For example, The Kindness Club has packed and distributed 14 Kindness Cups anonymously to various staff members within the school that were filled with pens, post-it notes, candies, pencils, erasers, and an encouraging note. With the support of this project it will allow me to purchase additional supplies that will guarantee to bring joy to someone's day.
