My students love being "explorers". It is exciting to see the enjoyment students have when learning something new. They love discovering things about the world through hands-on experimentation and activities. The materials I am requesting will help get my students involved in seeing nature around them and learning the meaning in ways it exists. For example, my students will become entomologist will observing ants with magnifying glasses. They will learn to be botanist while measuring the length of plants while they grow using the tweezer and the measuring tape. My students will become engineers and design different ramps in order to transform into scientists to explore the concept of force and motion by using magnetic wands. These materials will help me with instruction with hands-on activities that will inspire my students to continue learning.
