My students are competing. First Technology Challenge. Students are from rural areas they need a computer to program and learn robotics. The students are competing with tougher founded clubs. They have supply and equipment from prior years ss we all know tech advances and the computer they were using is no longer compatible with the program. These students are at a disadvantage because had no resources to have a laptop. They had Chromebooks which are not compatible with the program. They need a laptop operated by Microsoft system. The school provides chrome books My students come from low-income areas. This project teaches students science, technology, Engineering, Math, confidence and college, career preparation and improves their social-emotional interaction.
