Our students deserve an opportunity to step out of the rigid desks and 6 feet of social distancing to be able to share and learn connection lessons. This rug will help me better facilitate a morning meeting and give the students a soft and comfortable place to sit every day and have a routine. Kids still need to be kids. Having a morning meeting place that allows them to have a routine and a flexible seating option will begin our day with a pleasant, home style feel that will allow the students to get to know each other on a deeper level. This will help teach them compassion and caring for the community. I cannot wait to have this for my students!
