My students are more successful when they have the right tools. They will use journals, scissors, glue, and pencils to develop writing skills, and work in groups to develop social skills. There are also a variety of high-quality online resources that will be used to increase student learning in reading, math, science, social studies and social skills. Social distancing shouldn't cancel out socialization! My students need daily opportunities to work in groups, and I need a dedicated teacher chair so I can circulate among the groups. They also need a variety of ways to develop academic skills. New supplies will encourage and inspire them! After this awesome work each day, they can share their success with their families via take-home folders. We are looking forward to new opportunities, regardless of the challenges.
