Due to the pandemic, art class will take place outside whenever possible, in homeroom classrooms, in the art room and in student homes remotely. The pizza box is durable, light weight, easy to transport and provides room to store a variety of artworks and supplies. The plastic bags will be taped inside the lid of the box to be used for storing materials so they don't roll around on top of student artwork. The duct tape allows the boxes to be color coded by grade, which will help keep boxes organized both in the variety of school settings and in homes of students in multiple grade levels. Having access to art materials both in school and at home during distance learning will encourage students to have what they need to express themselves creatively.
