When creating these kits my focus is to make sure that my students have all that they need in one spot. Whether we continue with online learning or we go back to the classroom, they will have a kit with their own individual items. My goal is to make sure that during online learning my students still have access to items that they would have accessed, if we were in the classroom. With what is going on in the world at the moment, I want to give my families one less thing to worry about. The kits will have a binder that includes reusable material/worksheet that they will use as a daily entry task. This includes name writing practice, letter/number formation, and activities to help work out their hand muscles. Fine motor activities are very important in kindergarten. So the kits will also include more items that my students can "play" with that will work out those muscles, and continuing the learning.
