I start by saying that as a first-grade teacher is a challenge working with kids that come from all sources of backgrounds and more these days, as we are dealing with lots of uncertainties. This is my second year teaching, and I would love to create a positive environment and community in my class. As a teacher, it is essential to give different strategies and alternatives to learning. My students come from all walks of life. The children I teach all have aspirations and dreams. The students in my classroom, my school, the community are constantly being challenged by the instabilities of their environment and lack of resources. These kids need to know they are loved, valued, and treasured. I need your help to make my effort go even further. With your support, I hope to prepare Christmas presents for my students. My students deserve the best, and that's why I am counting on you to help me reach these goals. Remember, a simple act of kindness can make a difference in a child's life. I'm asking for toys like Pokemon cards and Star Wars toys for creating an adventure, Legos to make excellent engineers, Play-doh and fidget toys to help them with sensory. Professionals barbies for them to be able to dream big in their future. Sight words bingos for practicing their reading and connect 4 to have fun. I would love to provide Christmas presents for my students and bring happiness to them. Last year many families were affected economically, and many had job losses and changes in their homes. This year I want to get them happiness at Christmas, without them having any worries. It is our goal to help families enjoy the Christmas holidays
