My group of learners excelled this spring with their online learning using the district’s provided online platforms and Google Classroom. With the upcoming school year beginning virtually, I will need upgraded technology that will allow me to meet with students virtually, record video lessons, and multitask on my screen to demonstrate new math concepts for students. In order to adequately meet my learners needs in a distance learning environment, I need a laptop with sound, video, and multitasking capabilities that allow me to engage with my students and create captivating instructional videos. If or when school returns to in person learning, my students would greatly benefit from having upgraded technology in our classroom. They will be able to utilize the laptop daily in our classroom to work on a variety of activities and wide range of assignments. Students will be able to use it in small group work to demonstrate their learning to their classmates and could use a variety of educational websites. Furthermore, they would be able to use the laptop desk within the classroom as a flexible learning option.
