Multicultural students bring world knowledge to our school. Their contributions are equally valid as others. Our school differs from most in our city, in that our ELL population is mostly Asian. Students range in grades K-5. ELLs are integrated in mainstream classes, as well as in the ELL classroom for small group instruction. Sheltered Instruction Operational Protocol is recommended and practiced. Students perform in holiday choral programs, attend events to provide school funding, and are encouraged to participate in talent shows and an entertaining multicultural dinner. Before and after school programs are offered. Some families share a home due to the cost of living. Teachers are dedicated and give a great deal of their time and money to assisting their students. The staff works for the betterment of the entire school. Students are taught to appreciate all cultures and value differences. Respect Yourself, Respect Others,& Responsibility for your actions is the school motto.
