I strive to provide my students with engaging, hands-on resources that make them excited to come to school. Teachers Pay Teachers is a wonderful place to find resources that my students enjoy. This is especially true during these times of distance learning. Purchasing teacher-made resources that can be used digitally or in the classroom is a huge time saver for me and allows my students to interact with content that matters to them. The other selected item, 'Time for Kids', is a resource we use in my classroom weekly to keep our non-fiction reading skills sharp. Non-fiction texts can be intimidating, especially to young learners. 'Time for Kids' provides my students with current and engaging articles. My students frequently ask, "When are we getting our next delivery of 'Time for Kids'?" I even hear them discussing the topics at recess and lunch. Providing my students with resources they are interested in is so important to me.
