Putting manipulatives into the hands of each student will allow us to retain critical portions of our geometry curriculum this fall that allows students to learn how to construct and design while learning skills needed for skilled trades and STEM careers. Each student receives their own set of tools that will reduce the need to sanitize classroom sets while in school and will keep students learning virtually. Without individual Geometry tools, my students won’t be able to study a set of standards this year that keep many of them engaged and interested in mathematics.
