Due to COVID 19, our school will be starting the year with online learning. At-home learning can be very challenging for our younger students and their families. My goal is to create a tool-kit of reading and math supplies for students to use to help keep them engaged and organized and to help families navigate online learning with ease. Each tool-kit will contain hands-on materials for reading, phonics, and math activities. Kids will be able to use these kits during independent learning times, class Zoom lessons, and once we are all back together at school. Having their own set of math manipulatives, reading pointers, and other supplies, will make it easier for us to sanitize materials and cut down on the spread of germs. I am excited to see how these tool-kits will help my students to learn and grow this school year!
