After extensive research on the effects of flexible seating, I have made it my goal to incorporate it within my third grade classroom. My mission is to provide my often disadvantaged students every possible advantage in the classroom and in their learning. Flexible seating gives my students the ability to make choices within their classroom. They will be able to freely decide what spot is the most beneficial to their learning. In addition to my low tables stools, and floor seats, the items in this project will directly benefit my learners who move around more than normal. These options will allow my students to get that movement out in a positive way, versus it causing a distraction in their learning.
