These home learning kits will ensure each student has the materials to be successful for virtual learning. Students will use the kits to engage with our digital lessons in a hands-on way. The kits will be vital for independent practice with families. Each student will receive a kit that includes a personalized learning binder, sensory bin, journal, white board learning set, sensory coping tools, and supporting schools supplies to provide hands-on learning at home. Each student will receive a bag & pencil-case with the following items: Personalized Learning Binders- made with sheet proctors with whiteboard markers so students can practice skills using Teacher Pay Teacher sheets. Sensory Bin-Made with pompom, sensory tweezers, sorting trays (muffin tins) and will be filled with items depending on students learning goals (like coloring sorting, counting, grouping by size, etc.). Daily Journal- made with primary school journals, adaptive pencils, colored pencils, and pencil sharpeners to write with everyday. Whiteboard Learning Set- whiteboard markers, erasers, and magnetic letters to check students understanding during virtual learning. Sensory coping tool- headphones, fidgets, stress balls and sequin sensory bands will provide different tools to integrate different sensory needs. Teacher Supplies- printer, laminating machine, ink, laminating sheet, and velcro will allow me make materials to meet every students' needs from home.
