My name is Melanie Damore and I am a PK-12th grade PA and CO certified art teacher. I am passionate about helping my students discover and develop their unique skills through my art curriculum. My art class includes drawing, pen and ink, painting, watercolors techniques, and ceramics, all while integrating science, self-expression, and art history. Due to COVID-19, the 2020 school year is going to look much different for teachers and families, and I worry that many students at home are going to face challenges. I am asking for your donations to help me provide materials for a meaningful, fun, and engaging art experience virtually. Many of our students will not have access to materials at home (even paper), and I am asking for help to buy paper, watercolor paints, paintbrushes, and crayons. I know that all donations will make a huge difference in the mental health and education of this growing community, and of our Colorado children. Thank you so much for your support!
