My students will benefit from my National Board Certification because it will cause me to reflect and hone my teaching strategies, while making sure I am engaging each individual in my classroom. As a teacher, I believe that my job is never stagnant or finished. Teaching young minds effectively requires constant adjusting and improving to meet the diverse needs of 21st century learners. Offering my students relevant, hands on activities is my top priority and I am willing to take the steps it takes to provide high quality innovative experiences in my classroom.
