My students arrived to me at vastly different reading and math levels. To try and help differentiate learning for them, I need them to have headphones to be able to listen to lessons (or in some cases having the assignment read to them) during workshop time so that I can pull small groups. This will also help my students who are not able to read, be able to complete their assignments by having the directions and questions read to them. It will help my students who are struggling as well as the students who are higher achievers get what they need to be successful.
