Students benefit from having hands-on materials at home to guide them in their learning. For ELA, my students benefit from color coding many materials through using colored pens, markers, and highlighters. They also need paper materials sent home in order to have a paper copy since many students do not have printers. Students with disabilities benefit from using organizers, graph paper for math, and dry erase markers. They need manipulatives to engage in authentic math learning. Students have organizational needs which is why they require more materials at home. COVID-19 has had a huge economical impact on my students and school community. My students are going to need many supplies for remote learning in order to engage in online learning. If you choose to donate, you will be contributing to my students' learning in a huge way. You are helping them in an amazing way, and we are grateful for your support!
