Support Mr. Golas' classroom with a gift that fosters learning.

Make a donation Mr. Golas can use on his next classroom project.
As remote learning continues in our school, this project will help create a "Community Collection" of equipment for students to use. Each student will use designated “Community Collection” equipment for the year (or for the unit of study), and return their equipment at the end of the unit or year so that future students can use the collection. The "Community Collection" of equipment will include basketballs, soccer balls and volleyballs.
These donations will help put a basketball, soccer ball and volleyball into every one of my students' hands so that they gain the confidence and the courage to play many of the wonderful sports we know and love today.
Students will meet for live and asynchronous virtual physical education classes where they will learn new skills and use their new equipment to apply and practice the skills on their own at home. They will also use a variety of digital platforms to film and track their progress to share with me and their classmates. When in-person physical education resumes students can also bring their equipment from home to practice in the gym. Having a sustainable, shared collection of student equipment would allow for students to explore and practice at home all year long, not just this year, but for many years to come.
