Building a solid library of books for my students is my goal, but my library needs some updating. We need books in our classroom library that are a representation of who they are. This would be one way to hook kids into beginning to love to read. I want to do book talks, read books with/to my students. Hearing fluent readers is important to their growth. Once their interest is piqued, hopefully they will want to pick up a book and begin to read. A better in-class library will allow them access to books and a choice of what they want to read.
