These materials (iPad, keyboard, and pencil) will allow me to record lessons through a “virtual” whiteboard, along with many other fantastic teaching apps. Distance learning poses many challenges, one being the ability for me to effectively communicate/teach with my students. Being able to record lessons while I write and demonstrate from anywhere I am will help to better foster communication with my classes. Another advantage to having these resources will be that I can help students who miss school; as they will not miss out on any lessons. Also, exposing students to different technical platforms will serve them better as they pursue their goals.
