As we move into distance learning, the worry falls on the students that have no access to technology. So far, my school is planning to have a couple of live lessons each day, totaling about 4 hours of live lessons per day in the lower elementary grades. Students that have no access to technology would miss about 4 hours of live lessons per day. Furthermore, if my district is planning to have at least 6 weeks of distance learning, students could miss more than 120 hours of instruction. Paper packets are not a good solution for the students with no technology, students need visuals, modeling from their teacher, and interaction with their peers. So for my project, I am requesting 3 iPads since they are the most student-friendly and the most compatible with our school apps. Please help me so we can make remote learning accessible to students.
