I want to give my kindergarteners the most authentic learning experiences possible while keeping them safe during a pandemic. Play is vital to our kindergartners' social and emotional learning, and I want to support this area of learning by giving them easy to clean materials that can be used individually. My hope is for them to collaborate from a distance in the classroom and share creations virtually with family members and other teachers in our school. I would like to create individual math and play bins for easy use! These will be able to be cleaned easily and switched daily to keep engagement in the classroom. If remote learning does occur this year, I would be able to send my students home with their math and ELA toolkits to maximize use while learning at home.
