I teach seventh-grade world geography in a poor rural area and want to take students on field trips throughout the world. Watching a video is not the same experience as having students put on a virtual reality headset to feel like they are actually in the place we are studying. For example, I want my students to see and experience the Sahara desert, Taj Mahal, African plains, African safari, Eiffel tower, Uluru in Australia, icebergs, rain forest, Statue of Liberty, Washington D.C., New York City, Machu Picchu, the Panama Canal, and many more places.

About my class
