The math problem solving journals and math strategy journals for my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders this coming school year will enhance our instruction by providing hands-on learning through problem solving journals that will help to develop skills in operations and algebraic thinking, number and operations in base 10, number & operations - fractions, measurement and data, geometry and mathematical practice. The math strategy journals will enhance our instruction to help our students get confident with a variety of math strategies like arrays and partial sums—with helpful visual models to make sure students truly grasp the concepts and be able to explain why they chose one strategy over the others!

About my class
