Help my students learn at home and at school! A document camera will enable my students to participate in small group reading instruction remotely using the same evidence based interventions and techniques used when they are in school. A document camera will enable students to see me demonstrate activities in real time on their computer screens. This will enable me to teach important early literacy skills such as phonemic awareness, phonics and fluency. Students will be able to interact with letters, words, sentences and stories. In the classroom, the camera will be used to display and demonstrate literacy activities while students are social distancing and participating in whole group activities. A document camera is an amazing tool to facilitate learning in any setting. My students will each need their own plastic bag to store supplies that they will use for reading intervention instruction. They will also each need a white board for remote learning during live Zoom lessons.
