With the current home school learning environment due to the Corona virus, students who want to participate in orchestra need to have their own instrument to use at home. They are no longer able to share instruments at school. Playing a stringed instrument is a tactile activity and there is no other way for them to learn than to actually have an instrument to play. It is also my dream to have enough instruments so that there is no sharing of instruments in the future and students can be free to have an instrument to take home to practice.
