Science World helps with the students' comprehension and better their reading abilities. We read the article together as a class, discuss the article, and then have a worksheet to answer questions about the article. My special education students need to work on their reading abilities. I try to teach across the curriculum with my students, since they struggle with reading and comprehension in each of their classes. We read the magazine last year and my students enjoyed learning real world science. There are usually videos that go along with the article.
