World Music Drumming will help my students develop a strong sense of their African identity and build their self esteem. The rhythmic aspect will reinforce mathematics and reading, making them even stronger scholars. Many of my students have special needs. Special needs children respond immediately to music. I have personally seen the calming effect that music has on children with special needs. We will use these drums for drum circles, clubs, performances, and just for fun. Please help me give my students the joy that music can bring to their lives.
