The materials I have chosen are to aid my student in increasing their large motor skills. Large motor skills typically develop before fine motor. Large motor skills also help develop right/left brain integration which is key to reading and writing successfully. Three and four year olds love to MOVE IT! I will teach them a variety of ways to use the yoga mats, wagon, swing and other items. They won't even know they are learning! My classroom is brand new this year, but Covid 19 cut our budget and this has limited our options for new exciting equipment.
