Having access to technology in the classroom is a valuable tool for students. As of now, my classroom will have limited access to computers (i.e., 1 computer to every 4 students). With these Acer Travel Mate Chromebooks, students will have the convenience of having a 1-to-1 computer ratio. This will help students engage with the curriculum, online activities, and complete their assignments digitally. This keeps the students collaborating and involved; it will also be an important component to keep our classroom safe through reduced physical contact. An additional benefit to having a class set of chrome books is I will have the ability to grade assignments and provide detailed feedback that will be saved online. These comments can be viewed by the students and their parents in real time. Moreover, students will be able to improve their computer skills and learning will be more interesting and fun!
