These titles will be used throughout the year to teach diversity and inclusion. Having this many copies of books will allow me to send titles home to students that are remote who may not have access to books at home nor access to their local library. One of our units will focus on diversity in regards to disabilities and I've included numerous books where characters overcome accidents or life changes and continue on stronger than ever. I've also included many graphic novels in this list because my students love manga and graphic novels and using them in class is a wonderful way to entice them to read.
