I am attempting to help my students to flourish while at home. They believe that they can live on their own and I would like to give them the most realistic experiences I can while they are actually at home practicing the skills. All of the workbooks and activities are meant to assist them with everyday experiences at home, and at work. At the end of our project, I would like my students to be able to simulate a month of independent living with an appropriate employment choice, paycheck, budget, menu, and recreation choices, while demonstrating the ability to distinguish between wants and needs.

About my class
