My project is a multi-disciplinary project involving Forensic Science, local History, and ELA. One hundred students will read The Trial of Lizzie Borden by Cara Robertson over the course of the school year. Each class of students will have two months to read the book and at the end of those two months they will be producing a one page poster highlighting theme, history, and forensic science of the book. The project my students will do will highlight what they learned about a well known double homicide in Fall River, Massachusetts and the trial of the decedents' daughter, Lizzie Andrew Borden.
