I believe in a comfortable atmosphere, to be able to relax and open up your mind to creative possibilities. The more stress-free we are, the better the chances at being able to operate our mind to its full potential. Our students are always on their laptops, and this is hard on them. On Mondays we have Mentor Mondays where I sit with my homeroom class students one-on-one. I ask them about their day, their weekend, and their focus areas for the week. While I do this, the rest of my kiddos are busy taking assessments for all subject areas. It is hard on them, to sit through 8 hours of assessments, taking notes, and watching videos. My goal is to give them a comfy zone where they can just relax and breathe a little with this mobile whiteboard, bean bag sofas, and lap desks. Please help me make this possible for them.
