Very few are at reading level. Phones help them hear their sounds, improving annunciation and phonemic abilities. These can be used at home, in class, or online. The students are small and most of their feet don’t touch the floor. They are wiggling and often stand during lessons. The class chairs are hard and the students do not get much of a break from them. Balls build core muscles and improve balance, which improves the ability to focus while in school. ADHD students can’t be still for too long.
