During this time of uncertainty, change and confusion, I look forward to providing my students with new and interesting ways to work toward their speech and communication goals. As a Speech-Language Pathologist working with primarily preschoolers, it has become more important to find exciting means of maintaining their attention via teletherapy. While in the past I prided myself on my behavior management skills, I now have to learn new ways to manage behavior through a computer screen. I look forward to using doodling apps to create a sense of unpredictability during therapy with the ipad stylus, and visually stimulating activities using the Osmo. I follow many other SLPs who are currently utilizing these tools with great success!
