The Scholastic Magazine series will enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. These magazines makes current events, civics, history and geography relevant to students' lives with fascinating, knowledge-building stories that give middle schoolers a deeper understanding of the world and their place in it. Junior Scholastic gives my students the tools they need to build Social Studies knowledge and civics literacy in the classroom. Every issue features current nonfiction stories and flexible print & digital support materials, including standards-aligned skills activities, videos, and differentiation tools to address the learning needs of my students.
