Most of my students do not have access to basic educational materials at home. Participating in class activities during Zoom lessons was difficult for them in the spring because they could not find needed materials. A learning tub with educational materials (books, whiteboards, markers, etc) will be provided for students to keep at home. The tub will keep the materials organized so they may quickly grab the needed item when their teacher is instructing them online or while they are working independently. Leveled books will be distributed throughout Distance Learning so students have opportunities to practice independent texts. These learning tubs will also excite kids about the upcoming school year and distance learning!
