This year is a new and challenging school year. My students are learning two days a week at school and 3 days virtually online. I know that they struggle to stay focused when virtual learning. For this reason, I want to provide them with activities that keep them moving while they are learning a skill. These activities are google slides that can be purchased on Teachers Pay Teachers. Learning while having fun is the best way for any student to remember a skill. Gift cards to Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to purchase movement activities to practice their addition facts while doing an exercise. Moving their body while learning an addition fact will make it easier for them to remember that addition problem. It will also encourage them to want to practice their math addition problems more. The same strategy and activity will be applied to learning their letter names and sounds. The wonderful part about these activities is that I can assign them in Google Classroom for them to do at home. This will make things less stressful on parents because it is an activity they can do on their own. It is also a fun activity during a Google Meets meeting.
