Reading is hard when you don't enjoy the book you have to look at. When I am able to find books that multiple students have enjoyed I try and help facilitate easy access to those books. Our school is very small and so our library is small. If I am able to have classroom copies of popular books, I hopefully can foster a joy in reading. The books I have chosen are ones that my students have asked for. The light that turns on when a student finds joy in the written word is the reason we teach, right?
