With help from donors I would like to help my students and parents feel comfortable and confident learning from home. I want students to feel that they can be successful and learn from home. I also want to help the parents by providing them with tools they can use to help their child practice the skills taught. I would like to create tool kits for Math and Reading/Language Arts. These tool kits would include Math and Reading/Language arts manipulatives and tools that they would normally have at school. Students will use these tools to participate in engaging virtual lessons with the teacher and use as they complete their assignments. As we know some students need to touch manipulatives in order to make the connection to the concepts being taught.
