This school year is going to be different than most. While safety, health, and personal responsibility have always been a priority for me to teach my students, this year presents new challenges. I am working hard to ensure that with the upcoming school year we can be successful in the classroom despite the unique challenges that we are facing. As an educator, I want nothing more than to return to my classroom with my students but I want to do so in the safest manner possible. These materials will provide my students with what they need to learn successfully in a face-to-face classroom while maintaining the appropriate social distance. The colorful circles will mark each child's designated spot on the floor so they know where to set their flexible seating and supplies. The yoga mats will provide personal space and a visual boundary for each child, while the lap desks will provide a surface for writing and working on within that space. Lastly, the stadium seats will provide students with back support while sitting on the ground. All-in-all, I will do whatever it takes to ensure my students are successful and safe. Flexibility is an important trait to have and develop, and with your help, I can make my classroom flexible enough to meet the needs of my students within the four walls of my classroom and still keep everyone safe!
