Our classroom is a world of cultures and our library needs to reflect this as well. Even though we many not be in an actual classroom when we begin this year, these books can still be used to build our diverse culture within our room. These books will give us the opportunity to learn about each other and different cultures. The books will help my students see that anything is possible and they will have representatives who will let them see this. My kids deserve to see and gain an understanding of what our world is like outside of our classroom.
